Original Work

Sculpture and Bronze

Madonna and Child, original sculpture in clay

Madonna and Child

Original · Clay

My favorite piece, made while transitioning into motherhood myself. It captures a tender, everyday moment between Our Lady and her child.

Portrait Bust

Original · Bronze

A young Navajo warrior at the height of his strength, commissioned by ranchers Steve and Shari Zimmer of Cimarron, New Mexico. This limited edition of 36 bronzes is dedicated to Steve's memory.

Portrait bust of Joan of Arc in clay

Joan of Arc

Portrait Study · Clay

My attempt at something closer to the truth of Joan's resolve: not a distant, polished symbol, but a woman whose gaze was fixed on Jesus even at the stake.

Portrait bust of St. Peter in clay

St. Peter

Portrait Study · Clay

Peter, gazing into the distance, sculpted from life. His tired eyes hint at a man who failed and was sent back anyway, not absolved, but asked for love and told to feed His sheep.

Station of the Cross

Cast Plaster · 1860 · Kentucky

One of fourteen stations cast in 1860 for a Kentucky parish. It arrived in fragments and was rebuilt, resurfaced, and returned to its frame piece by piece.

Stained Wood

Hand-Stained Devotional Panels

Original devotional images stained by hand into live-edge hardwood slabs, each one shaped by the grain of the wood it lives on.

Our Lady of Sorrows with seven swords stained into a wood panel

Our Lady of Sorrows

Hand-Stained · Live-Edge Wood

Her heart pierced by swords and filled with glowing red resin. Made after discovering I was expecting a son, it's about a mother's faithful "yes," carried all the way through her Son's suffering.

The Sacred Hearts

Hand-Stained · Live-Edge Wood

The Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the Pure Heart of Saint Joseph, stained on a single piece of walnut so the same grain binds all three into one work.

Mary and Jesus

Hand-Stained · Live-Edge Wood

Inspired by the original Pietà, the wood's natural grain and warm tone deepen the sorrow and the timeless bond between Mary and her son.

Saint Joseph holding the Child Jesus, stained into a live-edge walnut panel

Saint Joseph and the Child Jesus

Hand-Stained · Live-Edge Wood

Saint Joseph with the infant Jesus, a symbol of paternal guidance, strength, and compassion, and the nurturing role of fathers in both the earthly and spiritual realms.
